There sits between mountains a mirror
Reflecting the Kings love and might.
The lake speaks to only the hearer –
Shows Heaven to those who have sight.
Rising geese sing the song of the age,
As if trumpets of bands far away.
Beneath mountains for glorious stage
Clouds draw back and point to the play.
A tune lifts on wings of the dawn.
The glass breaks as geese lift and soar.
Their song sings to God until all notes are gone.
I bend ears and listen for more.
There a longing is forged in the glass –
So deep only love gives it fill.
There I wait, enjoy plays as they pass,
Sit and watch the waves as they still.

“For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.”
Romans 1:20
