Each New Day
Psalm 73:28
But as for me, the nearness of God is my good;
I have made the Lord God my refuge,
That I may tell of all Your works.
Each new day begins with the dawning of the sun.
Each new day ~
An opportunity to see my God display His mighty presence.
Each new day ~
An invitation to find God’s heart beating within His people.
Each new day ~
A chance to tell those who are not yet His.
Each new day ~
A call to seek Him and find Him.
Each new day ~
A lesson in faith, trust, and obedience.
Each new day ~
A call to live fully in the awareness of the nearness of my God.
~
“Father, show me today what it means
to fully live in the awareness of Your presence.
Open my eyes to see You
and the work You are already doing all around me.
Your presence is my light.
Your nearness is my good.
Your love is my desire.
Your heart is my goal.”

I can understand that. I saw a sign yesterday that read, “My cat is not spoiled! I am just well-trained.”

I saw those two a couple of days ago on my walk. They were trying to hide behind the tree 🙂 Thanks, Wendy, no better place to be drawn to, than His beautiful heart! Blessings, dear friend!

I love how beautifully God paints His sunrises, even though so many of us miss them altogether. I have often wondered – why bother with them, then? I think it is because HE loves them, too…Beautiful thoughts and photos, Heidi.

and think about this … there is a sunrise going somewhere on earth right now … and now … and now …
I wonder what that looks like from the standpoint of an omnipresent God … Thanks for your kind words, sister!
