One Single Step

stairs, fog, conference center, December 2012 012 A single drop of water may seem insignificant in a storm, but looking at it closely displays such beauty and design.
A single cup of water may seem like a waste in a raging ocean, but to a thirsty person, it can bring life.

This morning I found myself at the bottom of a steep set of stairs.
I decided to not look up, but rather take one step at a time and keep my focus on only the very next step.

“Father, teach me to live in this day You have given me.
Help me to focus on one step at a time toward You.
Show me the gifts You have placed in my hands, not for myself but for others to see You.” one step at a time

About Heidi Viars

“If you look for truth, you may find comfort in the end; if you look for comfort you will not get either comfort or truth ...” ― C.S. Lewis ..... In my pursuit of self, I found utter darkness. In my pursuit of truth, I found Jesus, who dispelled the darkness by His forgiveness. Now I follow Him and try to understand Him better. I am a wife, mother of 6, blogger and love taking photographs of sunrises.
