Closing Curtains

Sunrise snowy morning 012

The play is over.
The light is dimmed.
The curtain is closing.
A few actors are still left,
Forced to move to the center stage.
Sorry, there are no flowers,
Only chilling applause for those who played to the end.
Thank you for a marvelous performance.
See you next season~

february 8th, 2013, sunrise over frozen green lake 015Father, thank You so much for each season of life.
Thank You for allowing some things to come to end,
While new opportunities await me.
Teach me to trust You,
No matter what circumstances I face.
Help me in this coming season to make Jesus
My Hope of Heaven
My Source of Security
My Provider of Peace and
My Foundation of Faith

Help me to make Your Word
My Well of Living Water
My Daily Desire and
My Constant Companion

Sunrise snowy morning 013

“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
Isaiah 55:10-11 (ESV)

  6. While I sometimes hate to see one season of life move into another, I am grateful when difficult seasons pass and new ones are ushered in. I love the middle image of the sun between the lines of clouds. Gorgeous!
