The play is over.
The light is dimmed.
The curtain is closing.
A few actors are still left,
Forced to move to the center stage.
Sorry, there are no flowers,
Only chilling applause for those who played to the end.
Thank you for a marvelous performance.

Father, thank You so much for each season of life.
Thank You for allowing some things to come to end,
While new opportunities await me.
Teach me to trust You,
No matter what circumstances I face.
Help me in this coming season to make Jesus
My Hope of Heaven
My Source of Security
My Provider of Peace and
My Foundation of Faith

Help me to make Your Word
My Well of Living Water
My Daily Desire and
My Constant Companion
