Your Grace Is Sufficient

I’ve eaten, drank, and danced enough.

Found joy for a short time.

I’ve bought, and borrowed so much stuff,

Contentment couldn’t find.

I’ve looked for people come to fill

My deepest heart’s desire.

I’ve tried to make them do my will,

And ended us in mire.

Help me to see that I was made

By You and in with Your grace.

You see and love me in my shame.

Help me to seek Your face.

You love me with a lasting kind.

All other love is flawed.

Your love is true and I can find,

Grace draws me near Your heart.

About Heidi Viars

“If you look for truth, you may find comfort in the end; if you look for comfort you will not get either comfort or truth ...” ― C.S. Lewis ..... In my pursuit of self, I found utter darkness. In my pursuit of truth, I found Jesus, who dispelled the darkness by His forgiveness. Now I follow Him and try to understand Him better. I am a wife, mother of 6, blogger and love taking photographs of sunrises.
