What is darkness? What is evil?
Is darkness not the absence of light, and is evil not the absence of good?
Often I wonder why evil happens, and why there is so much darkness around. I rarely ask what is the missing good in that situation, or where is the light that could prevent that darkness.
“Lord, please show us how to shine your Light into the darkness of the world around us. So often we keep your Light to ourselves. Please forgive us when we fail and hide your Light. Lord, enable us saturate hearts with the Light of the World, Your Son, and by this keep the darkness and evil at bay.”
