I pray you find God’s open doors
Find gates to pastures green
Pursue the blessings which are yours
Be calmed by quiet streams
But when the road on which you’re sent
Is dark and cold the way
I pray there be a single friend
When doubt-winds make you sway
I pray you leave the doors locked tight
Which closed by God’s own hand
Don’t pry or push with man-made might
That which was for you banned.
In all these things I mostly pray
While you are passing through
That you will know the Truth – the Way
Who’s Christ – the Door for you.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.
I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
John 10:7-10 (ESV)
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.”
John 14:6 (ESV)
