Looking for God

“There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind.”
C.S. Lewis

About Heidi Viars

“If you look for truth, you may find comfort in the end; if you look for comfort you will not get either comfort or truth ...” ― C.S. Lewis ..... In my pursuit of self, I found utter darkness. In my pursuit of truth, I found Jesus, who dispelled the darkness by His forgiveness. Now I follow Him and try to understand Him better. I am a wife, mother of 6, blogger and love taking photographs of sunrises.

  1. Heidi, I love this perspective. I get caught up in the here-on-earth drama to the point that I sometimes forget to look beyond today. But, when I can remember this isn’t all there is, I find more peace in my heart.

  2. Debbie says:

Thank you, Heidi , for helping us trust Him with our future! Blessings and love!

  3. Bill Sweeney says:

    Amen! Can’t wait. Beautiful picture.

    • Heidi Viars says:

You know so well, brother! “But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”— 1 Corinthians 2:9

  4. Nancy Ruegg says:

Oh, yes! As my husband has said many times, “The best is always ahead!” (Although it’s hard to imagine flowers in heaven any prettier than the ones you captured in that photo, Heidi!)
