From mountain tops and lakes pristine
I gazed at teeming fields below
Where rivers bent and gently flowed
Felt there You said, “I can be seen”
I walked a beach sat there with birds
Took in the sound of seagulls cries
And eagles soaring as they sighed
Felt there You said, “I can be heard”
I sat beneath a gnarly oak
Raised gaze as leaves danced in breeze
My heart engulfed with gentle peace
Felt there You said, “I can be known”
I walked the city bare and cold
And there, oh GOD, I saw Your face
Your image in the human race
In fatherless, in young and old.
Felt there You said, with loving voice
“All mountains, trees, all fowl and beasts
Are nothing when compared with these
With man – my LOVE – my heart – my choice

So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:27
And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord,
are being transformed into the same image
from one degree of glory to another.
For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
