Church, Don’t Grow Cold!
(This morning I came across this on my walk in the woods… it prompted several thoughts and prayers …)
I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. (2 Timothy 4:1-5 ESV)
“Father, teach my heart to stay close to Yours … Help me to stay close to Your Truth, namely Your Son, Jesus. Keep my heart from growing cold in these difficult times.”
The Word is our compass and only sure instrument to measure Truth… and Truth is in the end really all that matters…
Thanks, Wendy for your encouragement … blessings to you, friend 🙂

You picked the perfect words to go with this picture, Heidi. We need to read our Bibles and know the Word more than ever as many don’t even believe it’s all true anymore.
